Grizzly Bears

While traveling in Yellowstone Park last month, we saw three grizzly bears - a momma with two yearling cubs. They were attracted to the thin strip of grass between the road and the snowbank. This was near the continental divide.

Yes, I was very excited. I was so busy taking as many pictures as possible that I wasn't fully taking it all in. My husband said he could hear the bears chewing the grass.
